7 YouTube Tricks You Need To Know
|In this blog post I want to show you 7 YouTube Tricks that you need to know in case you are doing video marketing. Video is really great and works quite well. Don’t be afraid to start with it. It’s not as difficult as you think! Just go ahead and do it, you don’t have to be perfect.
The first videos might be strange for you, but you will get used to it. In the below video I won’t tell you what you have to do to create your first videos, I will show you some nice features and settings you should do and use in your YouTube account.
Here is what you will learn in the video:
- General Settings
Some settings you should do in your YouTube profile, how to add links to social media and your blog, how to upload a profile picture and a channel art - Creator Studio
Some functions, mainly how to activate a featured video and how it works - Info and Settings
What you should add to your videos, like title, description, tags, playlist and using keywords - Enhancements
How to use some enhancements like auto fix, contrast, slow motion, trim function (cut out some parts of a video), filters and special effects - Audio
How you can add audio to your videos - Annotations
How to add clickable links, bubbles and notes. What you need an associated website for and how you can activate this function - Subtitles
How you can add subtitles to your video (I have never used this function)
Be aware that there is a completely new feature called cards. Cards allow you to add a new layer of interactivity to your videos. They are applied on a per video basis and are rendered on desktop and mobile devices. You can provide a destination URL from a list of eligible sites and, depending on the card type, customize an image, title, and call-to-action text.
