10 Reflections Of A Great 2014
Today I want to share the 10 reflections that Shaqir Hussyin, my mentor and coach and a multi million dollar internet marketer, dicovered end of 2014. That year was his hardest and most challenging year of his life... But business wise it was his best-year-ever.
He managed to make over $3.5 million in commissions in 2014…
He was impacting more people’s lives than he has ever before, helping people start and grow profitable businesses…
Here are the 10 reflections of Shaqir (in his words), some may resonate with you, some you may ignore…
- Forgive, forget, and let go. People hurt us, we hurt people. It’s perspectives. People will do wrong things and just won’t get it, don’t hold onto it.
Sometimes people aren’t bad, they just do bad things, realise it’s them and not you. It’s ok, it’s part of life. - Surround yourself with happy people, I like to be happy all the time, lol. So happy people and people who make me smile get to be in my life.
No room for dramas, whiners and people who aren’t aligned. - Master marketing, master this skill if you want freedom, if you want money, business success, master Marketing. This January when I was getting heartbroken, it was my BIGGEST MONTH ever in business, nearly $X00k and i was away from the business, i was locked up in some hotel in Canada. (another story for when you attend one of my events!)Marketing was what helped me create “Ultimate Leverage” and made me realise the power of having an online business that doesn’t rely on anyone else except systems and your key team members, no Jv’s, no seo, nothing – just pure old e-mail list
- Perception is reality. By God’s permission of course
We create our own reality, we choose to think the thoughts we create, the feelings we have and the actions we take and hence the results we have.
Once we take FULL RESPONSIBILITY of the good, the bad and the ugly that’s when we are truly AWARE of what we can create and shed multiple perspectives. - Never let success get to your head, this past 3 years my business has grown astronomically, and it’s because I have remained detached and try my best to remain detached from the whole fame-success-money-big-ban
k account kinda talk with others….Oh and never let failure get to your core-self! - Some of the worst things you will go through will come to being your best things – and so fight through some bad days to earn the best days of your life.
Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Earlier this year I lost trust in a lot of people, a lot of people who were close to my dear heart, then for a few months I wasn’t too happy with being who I was, always too cold, always too aggressive, controlling and then I got coaching and started trusting again, it’s not easy but it’s worth it! Remember, nothing has any meaning except the meaning we decide to attach to it, do this and you’ll gain control of any circumstances and challenges. - Love yourself, every high performance individual who leads a great life loves themselves. Secret to becoming a high-performance individual is having a high level of self-esteem.
- Do one random act of kindness for someone who you know can never repay you back, it doesn’t have to be buying something – sending a note of gratitude, blessings, appreciation, prayers can make someone’s day. This helped me even thru the toughest days, I would always find a way to do something for someone with NO EXPECTATION of getting anything back, it’s like a secret internal “Good Will” bank account, always makes you manufacture your own optimism when you think of it
- You never know what someone else is going thru, don’t be too quick too judge, everyone is trying to do their best they can with the resources they have.
- Be vulnerable. Life is short, it’s okay to make mistakes, to break things, to cry, to love, to be hurt, to open yourself up to trust others, most people attach onto that one past relationship or experience and hold themselves a prison, be free, learn to let go, and don’t let anyone put a leash on you

I’ll leave you with this from Ryan Holiday:
“You will come across obstacles in life – fair and unfair. And you will discover, time and time again, that what matters most is not what these obstacles are but how we see them, how we react to them, and whether we keep our composure. You will learn that this reaction determines how successful we will be in overcoming – or possibly thriving because of – them.”
